Happy Tuesday! You have officially survived Monday, therefore, the rest of the week should just fly by, right? HA, I wish! However, I do leave for Nashville on Thursday to celebrate my sis-in-law’s bachelorette, so I really shouldn’t be complaining. I am seriously so so so excited to go to Nashville! I have never been and it has been high on my travel list for a while now. This Florida girl has been stressing hard over what to pack so if anyone has outfit recommendations comment below and help a girl out!
Every year between January and April I always have the hardest time buying clothes. Navigating the transition from winter to spring is always a bit tricky. It is technically still the winter season, but it’s that time of year when the weather is becoming warmer and all of the new spring arrivals are being released in stores. Most of the time bridging the gap between the seasons can be super simple and just adding some lighter color pieces into your outfits will add more of a spring-like feel, even if you still have multiple layers on. I never thought I would say this, but I’m over wearing the dark colors and ready for a lighter and brighter color pallet.
I love Topshop when it comes to dresses because they always have the most flattering fits for my body. I fell in love when I saw this dress at Nordstrom, it was just the perfect transition dress with a fun floral pop and I can’t get enough of the amazing lace up detail on the back. If you live in a place where its not quite bare-legs season yet, you could definitely pair this dress with tights and a denim or leather jacket to warm it up. Lately, I have become such a sneaker girl and I literally wear them with everything! This pair of Golden Goose have been my go-to and if you follow me on Instagram you know that they have been on major repeat (Jimmy doesn’t think I own any other shoes, oops)! To tie it all together, I finished off this look with my favorite berry lipstick by Stila to add a little bit more of a winter vibe to this outfit.
